Chris Langley
Illustrator and Painter
From the crashing of the sea on rocks in Pembrokeshire to the intricate architectural detail of Cardiff’s pubs, award-winning artist Christopher Langley finds inspiration in his Welsh surroundings.
Chris brings a fresh interpretation to his subjects. He says: “There have been many paintings of Cardiff Landmarks and Castle Coch, for example, but none have used the colour combination I bring to the subject. I find great inspiration in many things about Wales; the people and the towns; the unique land and seascapes” Chris’ recent series on Tenby have been very well received.

Anne Clarke
Photographer
My name is Anne Clark and I live in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. For many years, I have had an interest in photography, and out of a hobby, a passion has grown. I love to photograph nature, with the changing light and seasons. I am also very fortunate to have such excellent subjects – horses, dogs and the beautiful Wiltshire countryside - to hand. My camera is always with me in the car, just waiting for the next photo opportunity within the beauty that surrounds us every day. My other passions include horses and dogs.

Jane Hyder

She has a graduate Diploma in Fine Art from Massey University and has been an exhibiting artist since 1978 both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Jill Coward
Painter
I trained at Hornsey College of Art , London in Stained Glass Design and Textile Design. Gained a Certificate in Education (FE) to teach adults and subsequently taught watercolour painting. Now I just paint for pleasure.

Bridget Winterbourne
Painter
As an established artist, I frequently reflect on my journey of teaching myself the basics of my craft. My work is fueled by instinct, drawing inspiration from the natural world and the effects of light. I am passionate about capturing my feelings toward nature through landscapes and seascapes in mixed media.
Living in the beautiful Somerset countryside and having a second home in Cornwall enriches my artistic inspiration. My connection to Cornwall began in childhood when my parents bought a home there, and now my family enjoys spending our holidays at that same location. The beauty of Somerset and Cornwall continually provides me with countless subjects to paint.

I have recently established Kingfisher Studios, alongside the River Windrush at Crawley Mill in West Oxfordshire, and am now focusing a lot more of my time and energy on my art. Landscapes, buildings, woodland and the coastline are themes I tend to specialise in.
In addition to my working gallery at Kingfisher Studios,
I have exhibited at Art Weeks, Art at Christmas, Church Green Kitchen and the Loft Gallery at Ascott-under-Wychwood on several occasions

Lynsey Tyson
Painter
Lynsey is a Cheshire-based artist and qualified riding instructor, with a passion for wildlife and rural scenery as well as her beloved horses. She works mostly from her own reference images and plein air whenever possible with landscapes. She mostly works in oil paints, sometimes using a little acrylic too, and loves to paint on upcycled roof slates as well as more traditional canvases. She loves to paint in strong, vibrant colours, and this focus on colour and composition leads to her bold interpretation of her subjects. She hopes that you enjoy her paintings as much as she enjoys creating them!

Rae Melody
Painter
Rae creates contemporary abstract paintings with an emphasis on the use of colour and has always been fascinated by paint, textures, interesting surfaces and mixing colours. She loves to create the appearance of something that is worn and weathered by using paint, but also uses spray paint and collage in her work. Rae's work tells stories of connections to places and intertwined lives. She plays with the scale of things, creating space between objects and places seen, resulting in a distorted image of what is originally there. Rae is an experienced art teacher and Freelance Facilitator at a gallery in Bristol, where she runs art workshops for young people educated in specialised settings. Rae is an advocate for promoting the positive impact of art on wellbeing and mental health. She often leads community-based art projects with young people and organisations with an emphasis on encouraging self-expression and play through art activities.

Robin Souter
Painter
Being hugely fortunate to rent an art studio in the oldest part of a 17th-century manor farm house is a huge privilege. Conscious of the history and aware of the atmosphere, it constantly stimulates imagination and creativity.
It may well surprise you to learn that this oasis is within the boundaries of the new town Milton Keynes.
I moved here from Oxford in 1983 to take up my post as consultant general surgeon in the hospital six months before it opened to patients. Around 15 years ago, and heading towards retirement, I progressively returned to art.
I paint in oils and most of my works are based on nature, sea, land, mountains, skies and pretty much anything that captures my imagination. My work is unashamedly representational, and if I come close to capturing the feel of the subject, then I am content.

Simon Knight
Photographer
Being in nature with wildlife helps to clear my mind; it’s therapy. The camera is my tool for recording those special, privileged encounters with wildlife. There is a magic and rush that comes with pressing the shutter button when your sought-after subject fills the viewfinder, and it becomes an addiction. Sometimes the addiction can be frustrating because it cannot always be fuelled. But this addiction is healthy because it gets me outside in nature. And when it can’t be fuelled, I am at least dreaming of those days when it can. I love wildlife. I love photography.
I believe that the picture you take is more important than the kit you use, but there is no doubt that a good kit makes a difference in getting that picture.

Martin Jezzard
Painter
When my daughter opened her parkside café in Rugby, she asked me to paint some watercolours to brighten the walls. I decided to focus on nature's visitors as my theme. Since then, I've opened an Etsy shop and made some greeting cards (thanks to Amanda and Keith at Thumbnail Media). Craft Fairs are my next venture.
I wanted to do my bit for nature, so £5 from every picture sale goes to the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust to support their vital work in protecting our wildlife.

Trisha loves using bold colours, and a theme of golds and pinks permeates throughout her work. Her architectural style and quirky animals are her trade mark. Working with iconic loved buildings and giving animals a character.
Trisha's fun side and charm resonate with so many people, making her work unique, engaging and truly recognisable.
